Comprehensive Trauma Care ecosystem

Government Medical College Hospital (MCH) Thiruvananthapuram has evolved as a Centre of Excellence in Trauma Care. Kerala’s first Apex Trauma and Emergency Learning Centre (ATELC) was established here to build a comprehensive trauma management system in the State.  

Progress Made

Tata Trust has provided Rs 10 crore for the project, and the Government of Kerala has allotted Rs 12 crore. The aim is to build a comprehensive ecosystem through ATELC and bring more swiftness and sharpness in response, to Trauma and Emergency Care. Alumni of the college will partner to set up visitor facilities.
