Sewage Management Network

The existing sewage system in the city covers 43 out of 100 wards, with a central Sewage treatment plant at Muttathara which has a capacity of 107 MLD. Works for sewage network under AMRUT and JNURM projects are being carried out. Designs are being prepared for 22 wards. KWA has appointed Rudrabhishek Enterprises (REPL), Delhi-based infrastructure consultants, to prepare DPR for reintegration of existing sewage systems, and to provide sewage management system for areas not covered in the city. Rs 525 crore allotted under Capital City Development for sewage in all wards.
