K-Space (Space Park)

K-Space, India’s first Space Park of 3000 sqft facility will have the foundation stone laid by January 2024. Space Park is envisioned with two sub-verticals — Space Technology Application Development Ecosystem (STADE) and the Nano Space Park. The space park will make Thiruvananthapuram a major hub for space-related technology, research, and development. Primarily a manufacturing hub for companies using GIS and other data systems, the integrated complex will also have start-up incubators, accelerators including Airbus Bizlab, skill training systems, and production units. Space Tech companies like Hex20 has started operational in Trivandrum. The State Cabinet has decided to hand over 18.56 acres in Technopark to K-Space and sanction ₹2 crores as seed capital for meeting immediate requirements.
